About Us - A&M Turf Farms

Founded by Marcel and Adeline VandenMaele in 1954, A&M Turf Farms is one of the oldest sod farms in Canada. In 2012, we expanded by acquiring Strathroy Turf Farms and further grew in 2013 with the acquisition of Fairlawn Sod, extending our services to Windsor & Essex. Our family tradition of farming field-fresh sod continues today under the leadership of the third generation, James and Pam Glover and along with their children who are poised to guide A&M Turf Farms for years to come.

Our premium sod blend features a unique hybrid mix of new grass seed varieties, each selected for its benefits to the Southwestern Ontario climate and environment. These grass seeds are genetically developed through university research to grow more efficiently and perform exceptionally. Mature sod is harvested after two years of meticulous care and is available in standard palletized rolls or large rolls for bigger projects such as golf courses and athletic fields.
